Announcing one of the first major STEM Collaborations between members of MSP2.
The Pringles Challenge is deceptively simple in concept. Your objective is to design and create a package to send a single Pringles Potato chip to another school in the US, via First Class Mail. The goal is to have the package that transports the chip safely with the smallest mass and volume.
Eric Biederbeck and I participated in our own mini-Pringles Challenge last school year, and it was an excellent way to authentically teach measurement, package design, and to learn a bit about a school elsewhere in the US.
This year, we're extending the challenge to the entire MSP2 network. Sign up your classes, plan and test your designs, and ship your Pringles to a partner school. Along the way, you will have a page where you can share information about your school/class, post questions for other schools, post images or videos of your work in progress, who knows where this might lead.
So come on MSP2!! Get your kids involved in a great project to close out the end of the school year with STEM!!
