Hi,

If you are interested, there are several places where you can immediately take something away or contribute to this site.  First, visit our Make the Most of MSP2 page.  Second, check out the group Collaboration.  MSP2 wants to create opportunities for teachers to collaborate locally or globally and form PLCs around science and mathematics. This group provides educators with a forum to create student collaboration projects around STEM concepts.  There is a link to our Cool Tools wiki under MSP2 Resources on the main page, too.

Is there anything I can help you with right now?

There are several great upcoming events scheduled, too!

Aloha!

Hi Tom - Welcome aboard! I wanted to tell you a little about MSP2 - we are using this NING network as a place where educators can connect with each other (through answers to profile questions and the advanced Members search) and also as a way to connect educators with exemplary resources and professional development opportunities. Please check out our guide to Making the Most of MSP2.

If you look on the Main page - you'll see MSP2 resources in the upper left hand box - we have resource guides where we have sifted and sorted and contextualized resources on topics important to middle school math and science teachers, an archive of all of our past webinars, the ability to search the MSP2 collection, and pages of teacher and student opportunities and grants. Our newest resource guides are Teaching With Trade Books which includes lessons for science AND math classes and Science Misconceptions.

Please don't hesitate to post a question or comment on a discussion or blog post. We are always looking for feedback and new ideas for PD opportunities and people who would like to present.

So glad you joined - Kim
