I notice that Mary invited you to the ESOL group. We are hoping to make that a rich place for discussion and learning about how to best serve our English Language Learners. We hope you will join us there to share your questions and your strategies that work.
Mary also invited you to the "Integrating Technology" group. I am sure you have good things to share with us there.
We are looking forward to working with you! - Rebecca
Rebecca Lawson has just started a ESOL group here on MSP2. This might be a great way to engage in specific conversation about working with second language learners.

Hi Kristi - Let me second Mary's welcome. Were you able to join the IWB webinar today? So glad you provided some information in your profile - you can also write more of a bio in your text box on your My Page.
If fact, there are all sorts of things that you can do to personalize your experience in this network - we're having our next online "getting started" session October 6 - hopefully, you'll be able to join us.
One thing that Mary didn't mention is our fall book club. The selection we are reading now is Omnivore's Dilemma - it can be a life style changer. We have Book Club group where we are having discussions - maybe you would like to join us? We'd got lots of other groups too.
Any ideas or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Welcome - Kim

Welcome, Kristi!
How wonderful to have a tech integration specialist on board here! Has that been your position for your teaching career to this point? Do you work across the district or with a specific set of teachers and grade levels?
In case you haven't had a chance to explore much yet, here are a couple of ideas/suggestions:
1. Join and post to the Integrating Technology group.
2. Check out recordings of Webinars and add ideas or resources to the wiki pages that accompany those recordings.
3. Post questions, issues, ideas, summary of your experience on the comment section of the event you've scheduled to attend.
Thanks so much for indicating your interests as far as helping out folks. Just yesterday there were a couple of brand new and pre-service teachers who joined and indicated they'd like some help (although don't know specifically what they're looking for).
Another new member, Donna Lione, has said she can help with ELL/ESL. So I'd encourage you to contact her. She's looking for help with integrating technology. Maybe the two of you can help each other out!
