Interesting that your program is trying to "bring back" students. Has the district, then, revised its evaluation methods to move students out of the district, then?
My role is as follows: Co-PI of this MSP2 project. I manage part of the project on behalf of National Middle School Association. My entire career has been in education--first as a classroom teacher, then as a trainer and curriculum developer in the adventure and experiential education world, then a consultant and adjunct faculty member, then various positions within the education association world. The general theme has been staff and curriculum development.

Do you raise greyhounds or whippets? Yes, your photo choice prompts me to wonder!
I always consider it an endorsement of sorts when someone finds out about MSP2 from a friend or colleague. It would be interesting to know a little more about your teaching situation, especially as you list several disciplines and special education as the subjects you teach.
If you haven't had a chance to explore much on the site, here are a couple of places that you might be interested to sus out:
1. The Math and Science Resource Guides are standards-based, quality resources either written or gathered by expert math and science educators.
2. We've had a number of Webinars on a variety of topics over the past month. The recordings and related materials are found in the Archive Page. Given that you indicated you "need help with" managing labs, you might find the Laboratory Safety one of special interest.
Please feel free to jump in, post comments, ask questions, share resources, suggest topics for discussion or Webinars. The portal exists to serve the community of middle grades STEM educators!
Again, welcome,
