Description

What can educators do to enhance young students' academic performance? How can they increase the likelihood of on-time high school graduation?

Find out from a team of researchers and school principals several successful strategies for helping students transition in and out of elementary school. In this interactive webinar, administrators from one elementary school and one middle grades school will explain elementary transition strategies such as vertical orientation supports, appropriate student placement, and setting academic and behavior expectations. They will also be joined by two researchers from the California Comprehensive Center who will share identified transition themes.

This webinar series is targeted at school and district administrators, school counselors, teachers, school board members — anyone with an interest in strategies for promoting successful transitions for students into and out of elementary school.
